I’ve had a lot going on in life lately. My position as Webmaster at a small religiously-affiliated University may be going away with the closing of the school. We expect to know something next week, but with the last day being the end of May (if the school closes), I’m out here trying to improve my skills and potentially take on new design clients. In the past, I’ve only taken one or two clients each year, working their projects in around my position at the University and my family. With all the changes, I’m ready for a change too. So I’ll be taking on more clients in the near future with the help of the lovely people at the Wealthy Web Designer Academy.
So far the academy has taught me a new platform for creating website designs and given me the opportunity to brush up on my business skills. There are so many things I never thought of doing – like setting up an LLC to keep business and personal finances separate.

Hey everyone! I just finished rebranding my business, and I am absolutely in love. It’s amazing to be able to use bright, bold colors, and show you all the type of designer I want to be for my clients.
This is also the 1st site I’ve built using the Showit App. Using a new app caused a few hiccups along the way to the new design, but I’m thrilled with the way the system lets me layer images and is giving me the opportunity to try out new styles.
